Relative Value Fund
AboutThe fund employs two systematic trading strategies – a risk arbitrage strategy and a convertible arbitrage strategy. These strategies each follow a set of investment rules. Asset allocation between the two strategies is fixed at a 50/50 allocation that will generally be rebalanced on a monthly basis by the Company’s Investment Manager, Magnetar Financial LLC. For purposes of clarity, Magnetar Financial LLC also serves as the Portfolio Manager of the Fund.
Investments are made into an Australian Dollar hedged feeder fund.
Global Resources Trust
AboutThe Global Resources Trust will use proprietary research to uncover value in commodities and natural resources. It will invest predominantly in a concentrated portfolio of global companies that may own, explore, develop, produce, refine, transport, or market natural resources or that provide related equipment, infrastructure, or services.
The portfolio of the Trust will be managed by Goehring & Rozencwajg in the same manner as the team manages the portfolio of the Goehring & Rozencwajg Mutual Fund GRHIX.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – The investment opportunities provided by the Funds described and linked above are arranged by Mantis in association with the relevant Investment Manager with whom Mantis has entered into a services and distribution arrangement (Mantis refers to these as Mantis’s “partners”). Mantis’s role in each case is to facilitate an opportunity for Australian investors who qualify as “wholesale clients” under section 761G of the Corporations Act to have exposure to the investment expertise and strategies offered by the relevant Investment Manager “partner”. Sometimes this is through an Australian managed investment scheme which operates as a “feeder fund” to the Investment Manager’ s overseas fund. Other times, Mantis’ role may be more direct in arranging investments for an Australian fund under the direction of the Investment Manager. In each case you should carefully read the Product Disclosure Statement or other offer documents before making an investment decision (including a decision about whether to acquire or continue to hold) an investment in any financial products offered through Mantis’ partners.
